Having a helluva time sharpening it. Doing the same thing with my B-10, and its easy to keep it sharp. Do the neckers have a different edge geometery? Just doesn't want to sharpen.

Hello???

Tried to sharpen it again, with a wet stone and a diamond stone. Even tried it on an electric wet stone. Surpises me that it dulled so quickly as my BK-10 has done the same chores and hones up easy. I went to use my necker yesterday at work...wouldn't cut for ****. Picture how annoying that was. Now I have to bring my mini-pitbull to work. Much rather have my bnecker...tougher steel, but not if its like a butterknife.

Someone help.

Angelus,
Don't worry, we'll sharpen it for you. I'm not sure what the problem could be, as we have VERY consistant heat treatment and results out of that steel. I have found, after consultation with Jerry Fisk, that the NORTON brand fine India Stone give the best results sharpening the 0170-6C steel, or any other carbon steel for that matter. Ease of sharpening is a hallmark of the BK&T line.

But there could be a problem with the steel in your knife, so we will be glad to take a look at it, and resharpen it for you. Please contact the folks in customer service @ 800-344-0456, and they will give you instructions for sending it in to us.

Thanks for being a multiple knife customer!

Ain't that funny? I finall got the necker back to factory sharpenes...and I go to put it in its sheath...no sheath. Can't seem to find it anywhere.
