I just received today (via a brown delivery truck) a brand new Becker necker - I love it so far! Comfortable, haven't yet sliced my skin with it... :D

I got it mostly for those times this summer when I'll be outside, wearing little more than shorts and a T-shirt (i.e. camping, kayaking, perhaps at the beach, etc.). Any opinions to pass along regarding what you think after actually wearing it around your neck for hours, days, etc.? I'm assuming it will rust easily and quickly in salt water areas, but aside from that assumption (I'm sure I can fix that situation fairly easily), any other thoughts to pass along?

Thanks

I bought my Necker for neck-carry while biking, since pocket-clipped knives tend to get pumped out of your pocket and lost when biking.

Good steel with a nice utility grind. Light carry-weight. Good sheath blade-retension. Tek-Lok-compatible for belt-carry, if you buy a Tek-Lok. Good concealable neck-carry.

Demerits:
- I stoned the sharp points on the bottle-opener. They irritate when they touch the diaphragm.
- The 3-finger grip hurts for extended cutting, and the bottle-opener irritates your little finger.

I use a single-layer paracord wrap for a bit more comfortable grip.

Great value for 3" blade suitable for varied EDC tasks.

Enjoy your Necker!
