I'm interested in getting a Necker knife for bush use. I already carry a neck knife but am curious how this one performs. How do you find the handle comfort? How secure is the sheath? Can you attach other items to the sheath, such as a match safe or a disposable lighter? Let me know.

Thanks in advance

I've found the sheath very secure, a little difficult to get the blade out, actually. I like the handle, but most don't. They find it either too short or that the bottle opener at the end cuts into their hands. I have not done a lot of heavy cutting with it, so maybe I just haven't used it hard enough. If the handle is a concern, a cord wrap helps, plus you have a few feet of cord if you need it.

Its not particularly lightweight. I wore it under a t-shirt for 2 days in 90+ weather on a fishing trip and it was not bad, but I did notice the kydex rubbing on my sternum several times.

I like mine a lot. Its sharp, handles well and is pretty cheap.

I have one that the handle is paracord wraped and fit's great in the hand now. It's a kick ass little knife and worth the $. ;) Mercop did the wrap and side sling to carry it , Works great.

 I bought one and its my favorite outdoors knife. I cord wrapped the handle one day out of boredom rather than comfort. Had it on me all summer while hiking and fishing. The sheath will hold the knife secure if it didnt fall out on those hikes it never will. Some one posted about using bike inner tube around the sheath to hold matches, fire starter I havent tried it yet as i dont have a tube around.

the necker is my favorite neck knife. There's not a thing I don't like about it. The kydex it came had tight fit so if yours is the same way, all you have to do is heat it up a bit and that will loosen the fit.

I absolutely love my Becker Necker. I found the bare handle uncomfortable for hard or prolonged cutting, but wrapping he handle with paracord vastley improved that.

I wore the knife all day everyday of the sumer under my shirt, and always while hiking or outdoors. No discomfort at all. Don't mess with the sheath, it will loosen up from body heat. You can use ranger bands (cut sections of bike innertube) to secure things to the sheath.

This knife was litterally razor sharp out of the box - one light pass would instantly pop the hairs off my arm (ALL the hairs in it's path!) After using the knife for a good half hour of splitting wet wood an inch or two thick, and making fuzz sticks and shavings for tinder, the blade was still shaving sharp.

You can't go wrong with it. If for whatever reason is isn't what you want, you are only out 30 bucks. The steel and Blade geometry are excellent, especially for a knife that price.
