Becker Necker scales/sheath question

If you put aftermarket Micarta scales on the Becker Necker, will it effect the use of the sheath that comes with the knife? (will the sheath still retain the knife?) Thanks in advance!

For awhile anyway...
Seems like they inevitably develop a slight rattle and eventual looseness.
Many different remedies though.
And I whole heartedly endorse the scales for the BK11!

The new sheath really does a lot for keeping the 11 in place. Even though the new sheaths have less fiber (they don't dull the blade if you draw lazily) they have a new retention device that is pretty awesome actually!
