I just got a couple more Neckers, and the sheaths on both are soo tight I almost have to put them into a vise to get the knives in or out. I'd rather not send them back, is there any way to loosen them up? Heat gun maybe?

Thanks!

Warm it up with a hair dryer, and gently torque the blade.
Heat it a little, twist a little-see if it's better. Repeat until you get the desired resistance. Go slow and don't overdo it. It shouldn't take much, and it's easier to loosen it up than it is to press it back if you screw up.

yes and dont hold the drier too close to the kydex, be patient and let heat up slowly!! I did this with a sheathe once ,I held it close to speed up and it made the kydex curl up and ruined the sheath!

Mine have been too loose, so they must have changed to make them a little tighter.

I would just wait for summer and take the knife in and out about 400 times. It will loosen up.

Mine started out about right and became loose over time. You might just want to try to use it awhile and see if it will break in.

For God's sake, don't screw with them :D. They will lossen up over time. I have had to retighten mine a couple of times. I have had it for about year and a half and wear it almost every day. Your body heat will even lossen up the sheath a little. BTW, great knife.

the early production sheaths for the necker were very tight. I think that's the one you got. I don't like mine and I'm gonna send it back to camillus for an exchange.
