Becker Necker with Tek-Lok?

I've allready asked this over in the becker subforum, and didn't end up with much, so I figured I would try again over here.
I'm considering purchasing a (Ka-bar) becker necker. one idea I did quite like was fitting the TDI clip, to allow for belt carry. However, finding the clips over in the UK is proving pretty much impossible. because of this, I am wondering:
is possible to fit the full-sized tek-lok, and so the tech-klip, to the sheath?

That's too bad that your having trouble getting a TDI clip. It realy is the way to go....

...I think that the Tek-Lok should fit though. I have a spare one around here somewere, I'll try to find it and let you know if it matches up with the holes on my Becker Necker, ...soon as I get the chance.

...OK, I found my Tek-Lok, and it looks like ...NO it does not fit the Beckers sheath. :(

...sorry, unless there is a different size Tek-Lok than the one I have It's a no-go.

do what i do, skip the clip and lace it in your boot

I'm looking at the becker as a primary general use blade. the ankle is a bit out of the way for that use, I would be going for belt line, or above belt line, carry.

that's a shame. is it just a case of hole alignment, or is the becker sheath to wide/narrow?
thanks for trying anyway!

The holes will not line up. You could buy some rivets, and drill out an additional hole using the Tek-Lok as your template. Zipties work well too.

it looks to me like the smaller holes used for the clip don't have rivets/grommets in them, they are just straight drilled into the plastic. is this right? if so, I'm reckoning I might be able to make the mod with nothing more than a suitably sized drill bit.

How about paracord lashing to your belt / belt loops?

that (or zipties) was allways a backup plan. but I prefer clips, they give me more versatility (such as beltless wear) and mean I'm not having to remove my belt (and any other pouches on it) if I need to take the knife off.

A custom sheath can solve most of these issues, and is a pretty good investment if you plan on using this knife for years to come...

This sheath, I make it, supports the KaBar TDI Clip, like the stock sheath does, but it also allows for use with a Spyderco G-clip, or if you wanted, a Tek Lok.
