I just received a new Camillus Becker Patrol Machete. Looking down the spine I notice that the blade is bent/warped slightly toward the tip. If the blade is set on a flat surface there is a slight amount of daylight when it is set on one side vs. the other. Is this normal for a machete of this length and price point? It is not a big deal, but I am interested in confirming that this is normal before I make her mine (6 mos. honeymoon in Peru).
I posted this topic on the General Discussion board. Some responders suggested I post here also, as I need to make a decision by early next week if I will have to keep this Becker as is, or try to swap it out. I have emailed Will also, but hopefully he is out enjoying his weekend! Thanks everyone!
