Alright fellas, I have found myself wanting a Becker Patrol Pack. Don't know why? Well I kinda do, but now I really want one, or two. I love Ethan's designs and love the fact that they are made in the USA.
So here is the deal, I have a Condor II and a Vulture II that I got a year or two ago and love the bags. The Condor get's used more since I take it anywhere I need to carry stuff. Like short trips and even to go shopping at the mall for christmas time so I can carry all my gifts and still hold on to my almost 2 year old son.
I have tons of pouches and stuff that MOLLE on to the bags and love that feature. Even MOLLE my Beckers when I go to the woods and stuff. Love my M-4 pouches for my canteens or even other gear.
Now let me back track a little. I have always loved bags. I still have every backpack that I had going to school as a kid. My first hunting pack was a large Cabellas camo one that I used the crap out of. I have always loved the ALLICE style and even had a knock of one that got lots of use. I got back into bags a few years ago when I was selling motorcycles and riding motorcycles everyday, rain, ice, wind, 100 plus degrees, or beautiful days. I was able to get Ogio bags at a really great price at the dealership I worked at. So I have 4 or 5 really nice Ogio Backpacks that I used everyday for years. Then I got back into outdoors and hunting again and that's when I went Maxpedition.
So now we are up to date, I am thinking of going with Becker Packs. Hard to find and costly I know but I think they are worth it........ Right?
From What I have found, there are 3 different one's. The large, the small, and what looks like a small one with MOLLE instead of the pouches. I know I can get the large in Camo like Guyon has. I have already talked to Eagle about it. I think I have found a place that has the Molle in black. And Im sure if I can wait long enough I can get the other ones used.
I am wondering if any of you can tell me your experiences with the different ones and post pics next to a Condor II or Vulture II or even a Falcon II. Just so I can get a size comparison.
I am thinking about just getting the larger camo one now. But how big is it really and is it worth it?
I haven't seen much on the MOLLE one. I really don't think Ethan had anything to do with it. I am guessing that Eagle just took his bag and removed the outer pouches and replaced them with Webbing.
I am kinda liking this since I would be able to still use all the Maxpedition pouches that I currently have. (And I have way to many to be honest. I would hate for them not to be used.)
Do any of you have one of these? Could you post a few picks and tell me your thoughts please?
And any of you have both the large and small regular BPP and can post side by side pics?
