JD from The 710 Custom Sheaths set me up with some outstanding carry options for my trio of Beckers (I own others but these are my current focus).

Check them out!

Thanks JD, great work!

Thanks! JD does great work. I'm glad I listened to all of his happy customers!

Sulaco,

We've had the same interests lately. I believe that the BK-15 sheaths were posted on 710's facebook together.

I can't take credit for the scales, that would have to go to tommythewho. They are Spalted Tamarind. When I saw that picture on 710's facebook, I wondered who was getting that lefty sheath in all black. :)

If you wouldn't mind, could you explain the rationale behind all the extra straps and hardware? It is to avoid stitching, or purely an aesthetic I'm not aware of?

Thanks.

When you said "Becker Perfection".......I figured it was a new thread about the BK2 ;-)

Nice sheaths man. They look awsome.

RX-79G, the two straps around the sheath are because it's a "taco" or foldover design. If it were a pancake design with holes on both sides, he could just attach the belt loop to both sides. But because we wanted the taco style, he used the two straps to secure the belt loop to the sheath. Plus it looks good, you have to admit. :P

The belt loop is removable and allows for scout carry, beltloop has removable hardware on it so you can add a dangler later if you want or if need be a leather strop...
On a Thermoforming sheath everything is 100% removable to allow other attachments or paracord, what ever you can think of.
