Becker prices going up?

I was planning to get a nice bk2 around Christmas but things came up and I couldn't free up the money for one I've been planning to get one soon but the prices are almost 15$ more then what they were around Christmas.

I'm not complaining so pls don't take this the wrong way. From what I read even at 75$ (shipping included) its a excellent knife for the money.

I'm mainly just curious if they go up and down or if they stay up once they go up in price? I'm new to the knife market but with more camping planned this summer my trusty buck folder needs a little help :)

$65 shipped. I got mine 3 weeks ago for less than $60 shipped. The deals are out there.

Yes, from what I have heard from the many dealers I am talking to about our Beckerhead deal, an across the board increase in knives as a whole is coming. Mostly due to fuel increases, material price increases, and wage increases.

Firearms as well. We go through this ever so often, kinda growing pains so to speak. Pretty much, if its made of metal, the price is going to go up some.

Don't think it will break the bank, but price increases are a normal part of manufacturing.

$63 with free 2 day shipping is what I paid with Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime is the best $79 you'll spend in a year! Its nice getting your stuff no later than 2 days... Or $3.99 for overnight.
 
My bk2 came from Amazon with free super saver shipping. the cost was $57.65, and it took 6 buisness days to arrive. Amazon did not specify gen1 or gen2, but it is a gen2.
 
in general yes, the prices are going up, but that's just economic pressures/costs/etc.

how much? well, hopefuly not a lot. the dealers pass along the savings as they say.

so, buy now, or buy later :)
 
If it makes you feel better i paid 100US for mine bk2 (happy about that price). And yesterday i paid 1,27€ per liter for my diesel car.
 
That Gen 2 BK-2 may be coming sooner than I though. :D
