Hi folks, first post, I picked up a Gerber LMF II Infantry over the holidays and kinda got the bug.

I just received a Becker BK9 but don't care for the handle. Does someone make replacement handles for this knife?

I'm also considering picking up the Buck Raven Legacy made with S30V. Has anyone else bought this knife? How do you like it?

Thanks

I hear ya dude pretty crappy knife really. I'll help you out and let you send it to me. You will have to pay postage though. PM me for my address. There are several knives available in the $350 to $600 are range that are about equal quality. Pretty sure some of them have micarta and G10 handles. So you could replace it with one of those.
I may try putting some Ironwood handles on it when it gets here, like I plan on doing with my BK2,.

BTW welcome, I just got here too and its pretty informative board

I see some micarta scales for Beckers, on Ebay for $45 all the time, from one seller.

Keep your eyes open. You might be able to find a set of the Camillus made micarta. You'll have to beat me out though, because I need one more set. :D

Hey Guyon, what are knives are second and fourth from the right? I assume Beckers, but which models? I'm in the market for a nice camping/outdoors knife in the 4"-6" range. I liked the BKT-2 Campanion, but it doesn't have the thumb ramp on the spine like the BK-7, but that one is too big.

That one is a BK10 Crewman as pictured here - 5 inch blade, but I'm not sure of the production status. They do appear on ebay often:

You can add some texture with a can of textured Rustoleum. Doesn't look too bad either. Just make sure you let it sit overnight so it cures properly.
