Those are my personal "Utah beehive state scales" Ipe with yellow liners and an extra liner laminated in there. A real handfull !

Nope. Not a Pitts. Wrong cowl and wing struts. This plane has a radial engine, Pitts has a normal opposed 4 (which is why the cowl is different).
According to FAA registration, this is an owner-built aircraft -- which makes it even more impressive!
