Becker/Ritter

This has been a long time coming and I'm glad to seeing it happening. Even more happy that Shon is doing it! When you mention Becker, Ritter and Rowen, well, I'm not sure you can find any better three men in this world

wow i love that blade, its just calls to me you know? and i totally love all things rowen( though i have to admit, i have looked at some models of tops knives and just went what the hell were they thinking) and becker knows how to make a great blade. now i just need to save up 120 bucks....during holiday season........well lets hope for a second run

That knife looks great! The Beckers always were great knives, too. The grips were always a bit too large for me, always felt like I was going to lose control of the knife but the Becker Necker was a really favorite knife until the Izula and HEST came along. When it comes to being really sharp and able to hold an edge for quite a while and being easy to resharpen, they are really great knives.

Its a good design, well made, and well thought out. Its been along time coming, and like Jeff, I'm glad its here. Although I wish it had gotten "here" when I had the money for it. Should be a great knife.

only 100, i wonder when the pre-order runs out and they realize they need another 100-200? :)

Looks like a sound design.I like the way they did the tip, more pointy. The balance weights are a unique feature also.:thumbup:

judging by the hype.. I think they'll make more. I hope so cause I dont have $120 right now lol.

I agree with Jeff. I think the best knives come from the best people. Ethan, Doug and Shon are all great. And Shon is even normal! Very unique in the knife industry ;)

I like the Ritter fine, but I think I prefer my RC-6. I like the micarta scales. The new RSK reminds me of the Busse Anniversary Steel Heart.

It's the BK-12 (Ritter/Becker) come to life in Rowen form. I preordered one and can't wait to try it.

I had two of the Neckers and I think the large FB I had was a Becker-7. It would eat just about anything that got in its way. :D

I've had a 7 and a 9 and loved them both. But, as we always do, I left them with Peruvians as gifts after beating the hell out of them. Somewhere I've got a picture of the 9 cleaning a monkey. That pic caused a shitstorm with some folks when it got published in Blade magazine. I guess since it looked like a human baby that had been singed. :D Anyway, we've had some fallout from some of the folks who donate knives to us becasue we give them away after using them, so I quit accepting knives from folks because of this. Nowadays if I want to test something I pay retail and then say what the hell I want to say about it and give it to who I want to give it to.

That is PRICELESS, IMO anyway! I love it.... :)

Good photo too.
They had to really use their imagination to "see" a baby there. ;)
