Does anyone know who the manufacturer of the Becker nylon sheaths is? Now that Camillus is not selling any more Becker accessories I can't get a nylon sheath for my BK2. Thanx in advance!

I do not know what is in stock but I ordered a replacement sheath for my BK9 yesterday. Even though they do not make the knives anymore they may have the sheath you need in a shipping room as was the case with my BK9. Spoke to a very nice lady, call 315-672-8111 X 228 ask for Maureen Drake.:D

Maureen said they didn't have any.:(:thumbdn:

I don't know if the Spec Ops will work with the BK-2, but maybe someone here will know. Main concern would be the width of the Campanion blade. It's pretty wide.

Spark has 'em here: http://www.1sks.com/store/spec-ops-brand-combat-master-sheath.html

Smaller version is for up to 5.5". BK-2 is 5.25" if I recall correctly. So length is a pretty decent fit. Just not sure about width.

That sheath will hold a blade up to 1 7/8" wide. It will definitely fit. I was hoping for a less expensive sheath though. I'm NOT jumping out of any perfectly good airplanes.....

I have one of those sheaths. (6 in). The best sheath you can buy for $30 bucks. The bigger sheath takes 8 1/2 in. blade, not 7 in. and I am getting one of those too.

I'm redoing a BK-2 as a project. I may look into a Spec-Ops for it. Pretty cool sheath with a lifetime guarantee.

I really don't think $30 is a bad price. If you had a custom made in that style, you'd be looking at a lot more $$.

I'm new to this forum, enjoying it, very informative.

Any ideas or info out there on a good supplier for a knife sheath to fit a BKT-7?

I live in Concord, CA. Several times a week when it's warm I go up to Mt. Diablo with my son for hikes, and we look for tarantulas & other cool critters, which means I do a little poking & digging each time: This knife is about as perfect a tool as I've seen for hiking/camping, etc., big enough that I don't have to carry a shovel, small enough to have on my belt if we run into a predator of some sort. But I have one really big complaint:

The nylon sheath I got with the knife just doesn't seem to be equal to the quality of the knife. (Nylon's thin, kydex insert came out & I glued it back in) I made a couple of knife sheaths when I was a teenager, and they were functional, and, well, uh, functional. (If you dimmed the lights and squinted real hard, you might think they looked ok.) Anyway, I'm a stay-at-home dad now, and I'm doing a lot of hiking & out-in-the-woods stuff with my son. I'd really like to have a better sheath for this knife than what came with it, and I really don't want to go through the cut & punch-lots-of-holes-through-thick-leather, and have-sore-fingers-for-a-week process of making a new sheath for it. I don't have the tools anymore anyway, and I'd rather hang out with the short dude than sweat over leather for hours.

Love this knife, and really enjoy this forum. Any input from you wise folks would be much appreciated . . .

Will it fit in the Crewman Sheath? I believe that may be the BK10 ? if so I think I have a spare in my garage somewhere.
