The tactool is an awesome piece of gear, can do almost all camp jobs with ease. But as with every other piece of gear I own, it's gotta be monkey rigged with pouches and whatnot, and I felt it just wasnt heavy enough at 19 ounces:p

Here it is with a tobacco tin survival kit(packed with all kinds of useful stuff, dont have a list), mylar blanket, nylon string and a MRE water bag that contains a couple ziploc bags for water purifying. Im not sure what the camo pouch is, looks like a scaled down J65, dont think it was ever military issue. There is also about 3' of paracord wrapped around the sheath.

Here is a pic of it all together.

All in all its a good setup, if you don't mind a knife kit weighing as much as a large frame smith and wesson lol.

Lets see some of yalls kits.

Good job. I set a lot of my knives up like this, and I will set the BK-2 up like this as well. I just got a prototype tinder-tube extension for my nanostriker and that will go in the BK-2 kit.

buy two! they're good stuff!

Its a good tool to keep in your truck, especially if you have a small standard cab truck and space is limited.

+1. These three items are my "just in case" under-the-seat gear.

Cool set up. Very clean application and much nicer than my taped up bits.

Good looking kit on a good looking tool there. Love the TacTool, just wish I had more chances to use it.

Oh yeah, didnt post that it has an ASEK leg strap attached to the sheath too. Without a leg strap this thing would be impossible to wear.
