Becker Warranty

Hey all,
A search I did revealed nothing so I figured i'd start a new thread. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with Becker in terms of their warranty? The sheath to my Brute snapped today right across the back at the first 2 grommet holes. So basically the piece of kydex that holds the belt loop snapped off. I have only had the knife since Christmas, so I was wondering if the company can do something for me or should I start looking for a new sheath? Also still have the box and papers just not with me at the moment. Any insight would be appreeciated, take care all.

Lindey: If you bought the knife at Lebaron, maybe the store can help you.
Note that I've never had a problem like this myself, so I'm just guessing.
If you're going to the Mississauga store you should try to deal with Chris. Chris is a woman in the knife department; she's into knives; and she seems rather helpful and I would suggest dealing with her rather than with some of the other staff who might be indifferent to your problem. Call first to see when she'd there.

Otherwise, contact Camillus.

And let us know what happens.
 
Lindey, call Camillus and talk with Maureen @ ext.228 and she should be able to help you. Look on the Camillus forum and you will see that a few people have had the same problem with their Brute/Machax sheaths breaking lately.
As far as a warranty goes, they have replaced a BK-9 and a sheath for me with a decent turn around time:thumbup: .

you should get a cordura or spec ops sheath. one thats not plastic..... I dont care to much fer them....
 
Thanks for the info, I'll give Camillus a call on Monday and I'll report back here when I hear something. I've considered buying a new rig for it all together but I just bought myself a Busse Hell Razor so the knife budget is kinda low at the moment. Take it easy and thanks again.
