beckerhaed?

Those individuals that love and enjoy all things Becker Knife and Tool related. The best place to learn what they are all about is the Becker sub forum

I just got my first Becker yesterday, the BK5 "Magnum Camp Knife." It is being discontinued, so I grabbed one while I could.

Man, that thing is SHARP! Barely bumped my finger against it, and it cut me so quick I couldn't believe it. Great value, also.

Very impressive range of fixed blades, and a great designer from Tennessee, Ethan Becker. You can't meet a nicer fellow.

Might want to check them out. My next one is the BK9, the legendary "King." Nine inches of carbon steel you can take saplings down with and use instead of a hatchet when camping for less weight. It'll take a beating, too. Stout.

One more thing; I have a Lionsteel M7, a 7" fixed blade that is so beautiful I find I cannot use it. It just love that thing. It's also 2.7 times the price.

These, however, are users. Some strip the black coating and put a patina on them. Me, I'm just using them without reservation. And if someone at the campsite needs to borrow it, no worries! And I won't have to keep the eagle eye on them.

The 5 is a slicer for sure, one of my favorite...good choice.

Get a REAL, Becker Necker (BK11 ) with a thing on the Handle that opens all sorts of Bottles and you'll be a beckerhead too. :D

Thanks, Darksidedenny. I agree totally.

It's bigger in person than photos suggest, which I really like. The video of Ethan and I believe it is Bill Fisk, the designer, sealed the deal for me.

Now the 9 is next. :)

Your avatar is cool.

That is all.

Thanks RedLynx, I appreciate that!

I have the same bike, which is a Honda CBR1000RR. Mine is a 2008 Limited Edition, same body style, but black with charcoal gray trim and a little red on it. It's one of my best friends!

The picture sums up how I've felt so many times. All you need is your bike and a little gas money, and your day has endless possibilities. All good ones!

You know, I'm going to do just that. My smallest fixed blade is an ESEE4, and I was going to get an Izula II, but I'll opt for the 11 instead. I NEED a neck knife after all, don't I? One never knows! :D
