Beckerhead Gathering: Who all IS going?

Hey everyone, not that long from now we have our first ever Beckerhead Gathering and I thought I might see who all is planning on going? So if you are, chime in here, and then maybe we can use this thread to figure out some stuff to bring or what all we might be doing or who knows what.

One of the things that I am definitely interested in is bringing some food. Moose basically told us that we will be responsible for bringing our own chow, but since we are staying with a world class chef, maybe we should consider trying to bring some stuff so the master can show us some cool recipes or something.

Knives, heck, we all love 'em, so bring plenty for the trade blanket or whatever we end up with.

And lastly, I would like to keep this about what we might be doing there and maybe some planning for whatever we might bring, etc... and perhaps most importantly who IS going, so please stick to those topics. Thanks.

No offense to anyone, but this was intended as a place to discuss some stuff between those who ARE going. If you are not, I wish you could make it, but please don't post in here to let us know you are not going. That doesn't progress any of the dialogue I am trying to promote with this thread.

I'll be there. Bringing goodies for the trade blanket, so hopefully we can mule in at least part way. Would love to have a "beyond Spam" cooking class, so I'm open to bringing ingredients for whatever we decide to attempt. I'm not going to teach you how to carve whimmy diddles, whoosles or Gee-Gaws so don't even ask.

I just bought a new flask, so I'm ready.
 
I'm cool. I'm just bringing a Becker knife, a serape, and a flask full of Irish whiskey.
I plan to make my own clothes out of cordage, so consider yourself warned if you have an aversion to male nudity.
Friday and part of Saturday may be tough for you.
 
I was hoping to make it. But ... working full time, starting the horse barn business and renovating/repairing our new house, are keeping me pretty busy.

Ain't doin' a heck of a lot leisure traveling these days.

Hopefully make the next outing.
 
I will be there if all goes well. Just saw Ethan at PWYP. This should be a good time !!! I plan on packing lite. I was at PWYP for 5 days & used about 10% of what I took.
 
Me. Ditto on that aversion to male nudity. I'll have clothes, I just won't wear them. :D

Dude, you are like an hour or two away, so if you want to just head my way you can ride with me. You gotta take some time off to relax every now and then.

Appreciate the offer. On top of everything else, the in-laws are arriving this coming week end. Staying for a couple weeks. (visiting others too)

Now normally that would reason enough to "head for the hills" but they're pretty cool.
They still try and drink me under the table too ... they'll never learn (LOL)

Anyway - thanks again. Will have to do something. How far are you ?

If I remember correctly, like 1-2 hours tops. And most of that is highway.
 
Land is being cleared, Ethan's building us an outhouse, with magazines and rack. We should also have a water tank up there as well, but it won't be potable, just water for stuff. We'll have more info forthcoming, but we will have a few guests that most of you might know, The Redneck Action Figure, The Mustache, The Morracan, and others in attendence. Should be a helluva time.
