I really like my zippo lighters , thinking of buying one soon to be engraved with a becker knife and my number , if I can find a decent engraver in Perth . Any thoughts ?

Do you have a dremel with an engraving tool? Make it your own and majke it special!

But yeah, it sounds like a cool idea. Surprised no ones started making a few of them already.
 
I have a penchant to pick one up just to put my number on it. Don't know if I'd ever use it though but, what an awesome idea.
 
Great idea! If you order one from the zippo site they give you that option, other than that I think youll have to do it yourself
 
zippo does give an option to engrave letters. as a birthday gift I wanted an armored brass zippo with my name in old English. but the yahoo she bought it from said zippo wouldn't do it. and I don't like to push my luck mailing things back to fix them. anyways find your Becker online & # and size it right and paper trace. transfer your design to electrical tape with razor. lay it out on your zippo and electro etch it accordingly. or if you have the know acid etch. or pay someone a decent amount of money to hand engrave it and maybe mess it up. great idea.
 
I'm still looking into this . I have ideas , then I realise my financial situation sucks. Well I get paid for the month tomorrow , so maybe we'll see what happens.
 
I don't like it but pcb acid etch might be your best bet. YouTube is free thank god. watch videos on how people acid etch.
