Well in celebration of my sons deer kill and in anticipation of possibly receiving my Beckerhead number this evening I decided to make my special venison chili. While the exact recipe will remain a secret.....I don't use a recipe.........
1.5 lbs of deer burger
1 pint of home canned venison stew meat
1 pint of home canned tomatoes (usually a quart but wanted to use up some fresh ones we had picked right before the frost)
3 fresh tomatoes
1 large onion
3 cans of beans
1 can rotell
1 Habenero
misc other seasonings
I use the BK14 in the kitchen all the time its a handy size sharp and it gets a nice patina from the food.

Good call on the beans in the chili; chili without beans is like a martini without an olive.
The BK-14 is great in the kitchen. I'll bet that habby added to your patina. Those things are intense.
I am now hungry, thanks :D

i have a similiar recipe that i put a dab of ghost chilies in....i call it "Oh, Deer God" the friends love it

Venison stew, perfect in the fall when the weather is turning colder.
Looks good, Thanks
