I'm a music guy, in the since I listen to music. I don't make it, I dont' want to play an instrument, but I live jamming some of my favorite music. On my laptop, I have everything from Conway Twitty, to Disturbed, and I do listen to all of it. Mostly, my "flavors" run towards the metal. Love hard driving guitars and solid basslines. Not sure about how these guys dress and act now adays, doesn't really matter much to me, but my most recent "song stuck in the head, is Coming Undone by Korn. Love the way the lead singer dresses too, but I wear kilts so, ...........

Feel free to add you're own, and share your thoughts on what you "jam session" might include.

check out "Me First & the Gimme Gimme's" -- specifically their "Love My Country" album.
they're a punk band that only does covers -- this specific album is all country songs, ans it's pretty fun.

My tastes run more toward the mountains... well, the music that came out of the mountains, at least.

Yep, they be good.
Add to that, the Dropkick murphy's especially if you like bagpipe and tin whistle.
Flogging molly is outstanding.
Social distortion, Pennywise and the Real Mckenzies.
That's my alternative/punk list.

oregon, you been sharking my CD's?
:D

check out Enter the Haggis sometime - not as harsh as Molly/Murphy's, but some decent "electric celt"

I'm a HUGE DKM's fan. Its actually the ringtone on my phone. Shipping, one of the best ever.

As of late. I pretty much like anything, but this is my wife's cousin's band, Mountain Cove. He plays the bass. Coolest part is that they are sponsored by Moon Pie. Their album has been in the cd player for a while now. Oh yeah I almost forgot they are out of TN too. :)

Ramones. One of my favorites.

Anyone who comes on stage with nylons over there heads, and a "gabba gabba hey" sign ... had too uv loved 'em. RIP.

Love the Murphy's! Wish I could find something similar with more bagpipes though. Love some pipes.

Other than that, I have a bad habit of listening to hardcore 80's pop. It's a weakness.
