Simple premise; besides your fixed Becker’s, what folders did you find yourself carrying most often this year?

Mine:

From top to bottom:
Kershaw M390 Dividend - My walking the dog and all around suburban carry blade. I can open it with one hand very quickly. Also, a few passes on the strop after each use keeps this razor sharp.

Spyderco Urban - My legally restricted urban carry blade. A very practical non intimidating slip joint in aeb-l stainless.

Spyderco Meerkat - My legally restricted urban carry part 2. It’s generally in my edc bag. Cool locking mechanism too.

Honorable mentions go to my sheepsfoot mini-griptillian and my RAT 2 (I first carried an aus8 and then switched over to the d2 version at the tail end of the year).

What did you carry often in 2019?

My most carried (modern) folder in 2019, by a large margin, was my Reate K2. It was the first folder I'd purchased in over a year, and it has basically owned my rfp since it got here. I carry it for several weeks at a time - and it's generally only displaced when I make a conscious decision to carry other knives... then it usually finds it's way back into my pocket within a week or two.

Good thread idea.

I try to switch it up a lot hence this is a bit of a guess for me since I bought quite a few...
The Spyderco Para 3 lightweight I carried quite often. I genuinely like frn knives for some reason. I often prefer them over G10 folders with liners. Imo, Spyderco hit a home run with these. For me they're the new Delica.

Surprise of the year for me was the Spyderco Kapara. What a great and well built tool. A bit large for me for edc but I love it to bits. I carry it very often in or around the house and do a lot of meal prep with it. It's very well thought out.

Lastly, it's the Benchmade Proper for me. I love the newer touch they gave to a slipjoint design. It's often my office carry and just in general it's in my pocket a lot. I think I edc'd this one the most, in the literal sense of edc.

Very honorable mention, the Giantmouse Ace Iona. Lightweight, wire clip, nice blade steel at an attractive pricepoint. Carried this quite often in my walks around the neighborhood, forests and parks.

Spyderco 204p Military and a Spyderco Para 2. one or the other, sometimes both.

vic sak huntsman in the front left pocket any time I'm wearing pants with pockets.
usually a slipjoint of some sort in the other front pocket.
weekends often see a benchmade grip in a tool or cargo pocket -- unless my modded 14 is taking up that space.
