Want this thread to be a place where people put their Becker demolishing pics or vids. Became a full fledged Beckerhead today. Happy.:) Got a 9 5 days ago and have planned twice to take out in the woods for some demolishing/testing but have had thunderstorms and rain both times. I know, "a real Beckerhead would be willing to get struck by lightning and endure the cold rain so he can test out his new Becker". Trust me I feel ashamed. But will have a ton of demolition pics for all my Becker's within a week. God willing. Anyways hoping Beckerhead's will post some of their demolition pics here now and forever. I'll be back.

Some 2"4 chopping comming up tomorrow or the.day after, will compare to small hatchet, NMFBM from Busse and possibly the Browning Crowell Barker competition chopper...
Reserved this spot for the vid....

Congratulations!

The 9 is a wonderful beast.

How do you like those wood handles?

I want you to enjoy your upcoming outdoor event in beautiful weather. Enjoy!
And congrats on your Beckerhead status!

I took these about three months ago. BK9 vs. Junglas chopping on an old 4x4.

This was after 20 chops each. It was closer than I expected but the 9 came out on top.

Commenting on the 9 vs. Junglas post.......what I've always loved about the larger Becker handles is the knob at the end that allows you to choke down and chop with basically just 2 fingers.....causing your Becker to generate much more force upon impact. This feature often lets your chosen Becker out chop a larger and heavier opponent. You can still do this with a few other handle designs......but not to the extent you can with a Becker. Just awesome.

Bobber -can't wait to see the demolition vids. Will you be testing other Becker's too? Would like to see how the 5 and 7 compare to the 9. Monday is day set I'm spending 3 days outdoors. Gonna fish and chop a ton of wood for fire.

CHALET! Thanks man so much for the great deal on these blades. I was shocked as said by how light the 9 is! Thought it fell out of box or was forgot when UPS handed it off to me. This Bk9 is a never leaving my side. The handles on the 11 are great! Gonna stain them black or green and put some kind of detail/design on to make more grippy. Will get some action pics soon to show your "'babies" got a good new home. Although they might get abused more than once and awhile.:)

tangle diver -congrats to you . Why is your BH # not in your signature yet!:)

rkmoore- nice pics. I'm gonna find whatever i can to demolish on Monday til my hands are blistered so bad can't make a fist. Can't wait!:)

^^^ that's some dedication! but becker handles are good, maybe you won't get many blisters. Congrats on becoming a BeckerHead! I do need to get out and abuse some steel...

Ulf, there will be some videos posted tonight when I get home.
Lennox and me spent most of yesterday in the woods, chopping up some 2"4 and some trees.
We brought a lot of knives, axes and a couple of hatchets.
Just the 9 though, but I did a comparison chop of with the Browning Crowell Barker and a Kershaw Outcast...

Not crazy destruction but hacked up about 20 big tree's clearing trails around farm last week using 9 and 2. Gotta find more stuff to demolish. Gonna look for stuff behind a dump to destroy next week. I can't believe how well 1095 held an edge after everything. Cannot tell a differance in sharpness now than when first started. Thought for sure would be dull after day 3. thought i took more photos. did some batoning wood with 9. don't know where the pics went.
