Bought a BK16 yesterday! It and the 7 are being refinished as we speak. I am excited to take them on a bushy adventure!
 
Nice! The bk16 is a great knife, I convexed the edge and now it slices even better.

Since you've obviously got the bug now, I'll play the enabler. The BK7 and BK17 make a great pair too..............not coincidentally.
 
Funny enough, the 17 was what I originally thought of getting. However, reading posts here convinced me the FFG 16 was the way to go for my needs. Still love the loom of the 17 though.
 
I have some worthwhile threads coming up. Sorry for.the over excited posting. I am just super pumped about these knives. Will have some refinishing material and field use posts coming.
