Just finished a nice dinner with the help of my BK-5 and figured I'd post up some pictures of my take on Sausage and Peppers.

First mission - Slice up some peppers:

Can the BK-5 do it?

No problem!:

Now, my wife doesn't eat beef or pork, so my sausage options are limited. However I did find these awesome chicken sausages with apple and maple syrup which adds a really nice sweet flavor:

Another mission accomplished:

The BK-5 has done its job. Now time to cook down the peppers in some grapeseed oil:

In goes the sausage:

And finally a couple cups of whole grain brown rice:

I'm loving the BK-5 as a kitchen knife, I hope one day to get the real Becker kitchen knife set :)

Looks good. I had sweet Italian sausage, pepper and onions tonight myself.

Looks good.
We usually do turkey kielbasa with peppers and onions, and put it over long noodles.
Tasty and satisfying, no matter what combo you use.

I love these kind of posts and am glad that I'm not the only one that puts them up.
That's a great looking meal that's very close to my Wife's famous jambalaya.

I find it to be very soothing, even fun at times to use my outdoor/camp blades in the kitchen, even my folders, helps knock the edge off of not having the time to camp as much as I'd like these days.

Thanks for sharing.

Hmm.. I need to get to the store for Jambalaya supplies. I grew up in New Orleans, and my mother had an award-winning Jambalaya recipe... Now where did I write that down...
