Beckerless no more...Thanks Moose!

Well. Fate would have no more of it. I was only guy at the gathering last month that didn't own a becker. What can I say. Knifemakers usually use there own stuff. I put up a valiant fight but I just had to have one. I was impressed with mooses demonstration with the bk 9 that I knida fancied it. So moose thought to spread his infectious desease to me by sending me one in the mail. Thanks Moose. I plan on giving it my personal touches. But since I didn't make the knife, I'm gonna let Murph do the mods for me.

I promise it won't be to painfull for you to watch Thrill. Just a couple of small changes, strippin it and removing the thumb ramp and a kydex sheath. I'll be sure to keep him away from the big machines in the shop. Lol!

Very cool and a great "1st Becker" (my fav.). TMhunt... you can't stop the Murph bro... he'll wait till your not looking or something but I've seen pics of him smilinig ear to ear grinding in the shop. Wish I was there with you guys... do show pics of what you... I mean Murph does to it.

''big machines'' that make me snicker. I agree with the derampage.....I like the ramp ok on the 7, 12 and 10, but the 9 is way better (IMO) sans ramp.

Cant wait to see....ya gonna finish it like you do your knives? Whatever finish you use holds up well.

Yes I do... Things are still pretty hectic though. Maybe after I get around to picking up another BK9 or even a BK2 to grind on. Speaking of, I still need to check out Twisted Crew. they're next on the list. I just not got around to visiting Sun King this Saturday.

thats some pretty impressive observation skills there Derek! assuming your talkin to me. I dont know any Tom. I mistakenly deleted the photobucket pics, but I thought oh well you guys know what a bk9 looks like. besides Murph has it now and is stripping it. Im sure he will post some pics and some comments soon. You know how he likes to talk!

Ok, Todd accidentally erased his pix from post #1. He didn't realize if you delete them from your photobucket then they can't be seen here. It's ok he can still work a grinder well enough. Anyway I stripped the BK9 tonight, but first, pix to replace the shots Todd lost.
