I know there are modifications to the becker steel that we all know of but lets see what modifications its done to you. Show your cuts, scars and fleshwounds caused by the power of the becker steel. I was making feathersticks and it hit my thumb and filleted the last 3/4 of an inch to the nail. I was not able to snap a pic though.

The King bit me a little yesterday. And yes, I was ''screwing around''. On middle finger, near palm.

Ha, no BKT has ever cut me.

But other blades have. Deep and with large scars.

No, you don't get to see them.

but I will share this spine cut.

Wait, what?

Do they put a burr on the spine for a fire steel striker or something?

Nope, came like that from BHK. Perfect for firesteels, bad for thumb assisted push cuts. Which, I use alot of.

Last time I cut myself was while cleaning my Spydie Civilian. At the base of the middle finger, right hand. With that jagged edge. That knife works all right. And the time before that was when my early production Civilian dropped the blade after I pressed the spine release. That's all it needed, as the blade was too loose on the pivot screw. I've only been bitten by folders and bali songs. None with my Beckers, but I got them Micarta plates to avoid grip slippage. All the cuts to which I have adduced were small wounds and nicks and all long healed now, so no pictures.

Just after I got my BK14, I wrapped and then fed it...

Eventually took my stitches out w/ my Vic Huntsman...

Still have nerve damage in that thumb. Tape those blades before wrapping - guess that's the moral of the story.

I just got bit this afternoon. It was only a nick though. Bled for a total of 30 seconds... maybe.

Got bit by my bk4...stupid mistake on my part...looks a lot worse than what is was....still hurt like a mofo though.

My Becker hasn't cut me yet, well not bad enough for a picture. Just a few little nips

No pics sorry but got a real nice bite trying to wrap the handle of my 14 with parachord......always wrap the blade with tape,lol.....

here's my BK-9 bite. It was a pretty good one, I could even see bone. All healed up now though, and she hasn't bit me since!

I'll get pics up of my thumb from Helga and my thigh from Becca, but the stories behind them are:

Helga, chopping in the dark.

Becca, Paracord wrap using a allen wrench holder as a base plate to hold the tip still while I tightened it. That holder was a very smooth and very slick plastic.
