Hey guys and Gals, this Saturday if the weather holds some friends and I are going shooting at the Spring City Shooting Range here in Central Utah and you all are invited. Probably going to setup and start shooting around 1pm.

Figuring on grabbing some guns and ammo, strapping my BK9 to my leg and having a good time blowing up cans of soda, clay pigions, dirt clods and anything else that gets in our way. ;) Thought you all would like to know.
 
Thanks Wildman, I hope some folks chime in and join up, sounds like a good time, wish I was there, but Utah is a bit of drive for me.

Picked up a 550rn brick of .22 today and ordered a H&R 20g Single Shot Shotgun. The local gun shop is placing an order today so there is a good chance that I'll have it for this Saturday. :D A Neighbors kid thats coming with me got permission from his dad to borrow two shot guns, he also got 12g shells and Clay Pigions. So between my .22's, his shot guns and maybe mine, I think we shall have a good time.

God I'd love to be there. Trust me on this one...if you've never shot a can of Glory Mixed Greens...you haven't lived.

LOL!! Nope, I have not. But I've shot full unopened cans of soda, Hit them with a .357 Magnum or .45acp and they explode like bombs! Still need to pick up a few 6 packs for that. :D
 
It's a toss up really between potted meat and Glory brand Mixed Greens. They are both impressive. And of course the old standard, Barbasol. We bought 16 cans of it at Dollar General (all they had). When the lady asked why we needed so much shaving cream, I told her we were shaving our horse.

Come on down south to STG where it's always warms and I'll shoot with you any time.

I'd like come up and shoot with you but with gas at 3.50 and it being a 4 hour trip, I'll pass this time.
 
wish it was on a different day heber, I will be going out to snowville and shooting at some jack rabbits this saturday....

We will have to meet up and do some shooting soon

If you plans don't work out hit me up and you can go after some jacks with me....

I totally understand the gas situation. Might have to come down this summer and take you up on that. ;)

Have fun on Saturday. Get a few for me. If nothing else works out, there's always the Annual May Campout. That goes for you too Threatx3. ;)

Don't rule out whatever the cheapest canned beer is by the case. Last time we did it, Keystone Light was on sale and airing them out (while in flight) with #6 shot was quite fun :D -just don't be downwind, it's rather fragrant.

Hahahhaha! Good one. That lady is going to have an eye out for a shiny bald horse trotting around the area.

I've been wanting to pull the trigger on some of those tacticalinc mags. What do you think about them. Have you had any problems with misfeeds?

I met them at the shotshow but I'm always leery about aftermarket HIcap 10/22 mags.
 
Out of all the after market mags for the 10/22 this is the best one I have used, IMO it works as good as the stock mags.

If you do buy one get the TI25 Advanced Composite Steel lip, it will last alot longer and feed excellent.

This is the only video I could find, it might help your decision, if you buy one and don't like it I will buy it from you.....

Hey Everybody....

I have an extensive collection of horrible, non functional, crummy, frustrating and otherwise irritating hi-cap 10/22 mags......I have been "collecting" them for as long as there have been 10/22 hi-caps on the market......2 years ago I discovered the Butler Creek steel lips and I own several and have never had a bobble....I gotta try some of these Tactical Inc's.....Thanks for sharing the tip.....

If you find a local store that carries them or you order them call and ask if they have the blue followers inside the mag, these are newer and better quality....
 
how far are you guys from say salt lake city or more specific, west valley. i have family there and i'm from utah but live in arizona now.
