Beckers and Wood from Tommythewho

Here is a quick pic of my wood handled Beckers.

The 21 is cocobolo, the 9 is zebra wood, the 7 is ipe and the 10 is rosewood.

Tommy does great work and followed up when I had a question.

I know this post will probably become redundant but at the last minute after already ordering new micarta for my bk20 and the bk4 I decided to order some bad ass dark scales from Tommythewho! These won't come for a few more days although the bk20 should arrive today. Very excited these are some beautiful dark Ipe and rosewood scales that should look awesome on the new 4, 5 and 20!

Contacted Tommy a few days ago about some cocobolo handles for my BK20, hopefully he can get them made soon, I think they'll be a great accent to the bowie.

The cocobolo is an oily wood after a rub down with a scotch-brite per Tommy's recommendation I love them on the 21!

The 20 is getting the India Rosewood which are the darkest of the new scales.

I have both wood scales and OEM micarta on my Beckers. The wood seems as lights as the grivory/hylon scales so no change in balance.

The OEM micarta does seem heavier and to me changes the balance a bit rearward.
