The recent "Inland Hurricane", as I've dubbed it, luckily hit light in my neighborhood. Others were less fortunate. The only damage in my yard was one fallen Elm branch. Been working a lot lately, too much to swing a knife after work, so I saved processing it for my next day off.
here's the suspect in question, naturally I didn't think to take pics until I was already well into the project.
I Worked it up with DerekH's BK-9 He graciously loaned me with the mention that I could "beat it up". Thanks!
Here's a good sized branch I popped thru in 5 chops.
Must've got warmed up, took this one out in 1 swing. (granted, it did partly snap... yay momentum!)
Top in this pic. is the 5-swing branch, and bottom is one I got in 4, all chop, no snap.
Here's the brush pile I was left with, it honestly took longer to photograph it than it did to work it up.
If you have pics or stories about what you find yourself using a BKT for around your home, please share them here! I always love to see how people use their Beckers in the "real" world.
