Grabbed my trusty BK10, Mrs T had her ever present present from the Moose (her Eskabar), hopped on the Bajas and headed for the 50,000 acres of cypress swamps and lakes behind the house.
An absolutely beautiful day for a ride. The trail back is a little overgrown....

That's a Phat Bob peeking out of my pocket. It's a perfect companion to a bigger blade and you've got all bases covered.

The trail turns into a "road" about a quarter mile in. The little Bajas are perfect for this kind of stuff.

This little guy decided to ride most of the way..

Had a great time riding the trails and enjoying the solitude. This is some fantastic wild camping, fishing and paddling too. Fun times.

Excellent pics, looks awesome TW.

Gotta get me one of those bikes for the desert

Damn dude, that looks awesome. I remember you telling me about that place. Did you stop, make a fire, eat, all that good stuff?

We do all the time Dubz, but didn't today. Just took a little unplanned ride for a couple of hours. All the recent meat pics on here had us steak hungry so we had some grillin' to do at home. Bring your big ass down here and I'll take you swamp camping...

Nice pics. What's your trail pistol there, trade?

It's a Charter Arms Pathfinder 70's vintage. Full of snake shot. Kay almost ran right over a copperhead on the trail. We saw him, the biggest king snake I've ever seen and jumped a nice ten point buck.

Wow! That looks like a place I could loose a few hours! Very different from my neck of the woods.

Great pics man, I love seeing all the different areas and terrain you guys live in! Hope to take a trip to all of em lol.

Totally great photos, and what a great locale... it has all the makings of a good redneck horror movie! Just need to see a rusty tin shed tucked back in the overgrown somewhere.

Several of the scenes in "U.S. Marshals" with Tommy Lee Jones were filmed here.

Cool place! I especially liked the pictures of trees with the cone shaped trunks.

Those bikes look like they would be excellent in mud and sand.

Those are Bald Cypress trees. Many of them are 300 years old.
The little Bajas are great in the loose and wet stuff. Not fast, but hard to get stuck and if you do, you pick it up and carry it out.

Those baja bikes aren't fast stock but with a little customization they can be a lot of fun. I traded for one and when it was stock it topped out at about 15 mph, boring... Now i've got mine up to about 45 or 50 mph, maybe more, I haven't hit it with the GPS recently.

If you ever want to soup it up a bit just go to affordablegokarts.com or nr-racing.com The engine is a clone of the Honda GX-200, the same engine people use in race karts, so there are tons of parts out there for them. With a billet rod, flat top piston and some 26# valve springs you can get around 40mph and that will only cost you about $100 and takes about 2 hours to install if you go nice and slow, less than 30 minutes with air tools.
