Finally the Micarta scales for the Beckers are ready. They will be at the Blade Show and availible. Also, a very limited amount of the sweetest looking BK77's (S30V) ever seen by man with said Micarta scales on them. Same little birdy told me that they will have BK13's there too availible by themselves.

Only 145 pieces were made total. No more will be made ever. It was the remaining blanks from the Camillus auction. Retail $325 and will be availible online. Blade Show price will be $275. I know Ethan is buying a couple to put away in his collection and probably the KA-BAR people will too so get one now if you want one. They will be gone fast I am sure.

Sorry, I didn't word my previous post very well. When will the Micarta scales be available online, and will they include the scales for the BK-11?
 
My prayers have officially been answered.
I have found my new favorite knife, especially with the addition of micarta scales.
 
Any chance on seeing some hardwood or stabilized wood scales…

…I think the option of wood handles on the new Becker’s would rock.

Also where can you purchase said grips?That is if the answer to above question is a yes.
 
I think the new scales will fit the old Camillus Beckers, but don't hold me to that. Perhaps someone else knows for sure.

The new grips will be available at the Blade show, and should be available online from Ka-Bar as after market accessories somewhere around that time, too.
 
I just got a BK-9 and want [ need ] a set of micarta grips for it as Ethan was at PWYP and had his set up with them - RIGHTEOUS really.But I dont see where to order them ?,any help here ??.Thank all.

As I mentioned above, the new grips will be available at the Blade show, and should be available online from Ka-Bar as after market accessories somewhere around that time, too.

When you were at PWYP, was Ethan showing any of the prototypes for the new Beckers, by any chance? Anything juicy you'd like to share? C'mon, we won't tell anyone.
 
They indeed did have the BK13s for sale at the show. I bought the last 2 they had and that was early Sat afternoon. I guess at $5 ea including sheath made for motivated buyers.
