Well, after all the talk about this design I must say. This is blade worth having. Nice workmanship. Its 12.5" over all and a full .25 thick! I know now why it cost so damn much :p

The sheath is awsome too!

Congrats -- is it going to be a "user" or a "looker?"

Dan, I didn't get the companion...I wish I had now but the money was alot just to begin with, but I see why. It handles AWSOME. I like the handle design. You will see this I am sure on one of mine at some point. You can realy choke up on it wich I like to do so thats why I really like the design.

This one will be a user for sure. I will let my big (first blade made by me which now looks well worn in from tromps in the woods with a few 10 yr. olds) blade take a back seat for a LONG time to get this one broke in well. This is defanantly a tool to create shelters and other survival tools one would need. I had a snap pocket added to the sheath so I can put a folder and a wet stone in. Couldn't be more pleased.

no problem, Brian. I'm sure you can one of your own "companions" to go with it. ;)

Dave makes a good knife. Thank goodness you got the real one...

Congrats on the Wilderness Survival Knife. Dave's a great guy and makes a great knife. Hope you find all kinds of uses for your new knife.
