been a big dry spell

So, what are you planning? I feel that you ARE thinking about a new knife. What is it?

He must be eyeing something big. Either that or he knows something we don't.

ps. rosconey is that a small hard 1?

small hard 2-

to be honest-nothing has caught my eye since my zdp mini cyclone

I feel the same way after I got my large CE micarta sebbie, and my SNG. They about cover all my folder needs for EDC.

That said, I looking at customs now................

Since my SnG about a year ago, I bought that Gerber box knife, and a Vapor II.

The SnG just about dried me up - funds or desire. It really does satisfy to buy a near custom, high tech and high end knife with leading edge materials - is that's your thing.

Kinda like a Bowie collecter digging up some authentic blade in a Texas flea market market marked DB - with hand forging marks and a patina of use. And the seller says it was his great great grandfathers who was a soldier for Santa Ana. And it keeps proving out.

BUT - darn if a good deal on something just came up for a dressier Ti framelock, so I'm going for it before they disappear from the market. Maybe that will hold me for another year.

Buying one knife a year certainly allows you to go for it, and the box of knives improves greatly while not getting crowded.

More Titanium can't be all bad.

I bought a Spydie 204 Sharpmaker this summer... finally shrinking the numbers in my butter knife/paper weight drawer... and refilling the user drawer. Kinda like magic... and the hair on my forearm is starting to grow back, too. It's like meeting old friends... again...

Looking forward to anew custom Buck 110 this month, too... and, hopefully, that Buck Kalinga Pro S30V... someday!
