Inherited some $$, bought my first Sebenza about a month ago. May have gotten a little carried away since then...

Got the box elder yesterday, snakewood today

Not only are they gorgeous, it's amazing how much smoother they open and close than the ones with no inlays...

And now I need to quit the forum for a while. You guys are a BAD INFLUENCE! ;)

Top one came with a custom carbon fiber scale, and the original scale was anodized. I'm assuming with a torch. I put the ti scale back on because it feels heavier as a user.
The non-inlay insingo has been in my pocket every day. Scotch brited it and put a clip insert in.

You are good to go. Unless it was big bucks, which is might have been, I would invest the rest and look into to a good IRA, Roth if you own your own, or a strong mutual fund. If it was a large amount have fun!

Very nice start, I know the feeling exactly regarding catching the bug. I'm also at 7, but it took me a little longer than you. I can't even imagine how bad I would have been had I got some inheritance! I see you even got a couple used, smart move. I say you did well!

Enjoy the collection!

Awesome collection for any length of time, let alone a month:thumbup:

Side note, your a hell of a good guy for donating that Umnumzaan. I have a two year old boy and simply couldn't imagine. I'm not a praying man, but prayers are sent from me to her and her family.

I put an offer in on the Umnumzaan. Good on you for posting the link:thumbup:

Good talking with you recently, man. We share a sickness. Here's my lineup with the small insingo that came in today:

Thanks! Now you see why I'm not in a hurry to part with it, just figure I'll carry the small insingo micarta more.

Wow.... awesome collection!!!! I love the striped heat anodized handle. Now there's something else I have to learn how to do....

That small micarta insingo looks familiar! A very nice knife indeed, I'm glad you are enjoying it. You have definitely built up an impressive collection, but you can't leave now... You still have to experience the large and small regulars before you take a break! They are getting harder and harder to come by.

On a side note, that is a very generous donation you made with you Umnumzaan for the Hanna benefit! Much respect!!!
