Well, my life has pretty much been upside down for the last year or so. During that time I have not been able to keep up with knives and really dont know much of whats out there anymore.

I know that ordering a couple will only be a quick pick-me-up but what the heck, Im going to anyways.

First, I have been poking around New Grahams site. I know they were considered an excellent dealer with great service, is this still true?

Also on their site, I am just looking at some CRKT knives, are they still a good knife for the money? Specifically these:

Crawford/Kasper Dragon G10
Sting
Carson M4

No real special use for any of them, they just caught my eye.

All input appreciated.

For a fun, cool new knife, I would get (if you're a fan), The Spyderco Endura4 or Delica4 waved. They are a lot of fun.

as far as new grahams site i don't have any experience but they seem to get used fairly often by others on the board. as far as the crkt line to me it's good and bad, customer service for me has been top rate, but in the last couple of years there has been a downgrading of blade steel from, in many cases aus 8 to a lower carbon steel like aus 6 or 420j2. the sting is a good knife with a really poor sheath, the others i don't know about. you might look on the exchange on this forum for a good deal on a knife. good luck and welcome back.

New Graham is still well thought of.

CRKT still has a lot of fans. But there have been some complaints that some of their blades are made of less expensive steels with lesser edge retension. Also been some posts stating that the poster believed that that some CRKT blades seemed to have less than optimal heat treat. This is based on reading threads, not on my personal experience. I've never found a CRKT that I just had to have.

I've had nothing but AWSOME experiences with New Graham :thumbup:

I own a couple CRKTs and really like the way they make interesting knives that don't look like all the rest. The only thing that can be a bit annoying is that a lot of their knives have a left-handed chisel grind.
