Since I owned a CRK. The last one I had, I gave to my daughter’s fiancée a few years back and never replaced it - never missed it, until now. I’ve always had a weird sort of dynamic with CRK knives, the Sebenza in particular. I always liked them, but I never really liked them if you know what mean. I just never understood what in my mind I thought was hype. There were many other knives I just liked better, even if they weren’t as practical.

Being in law enforcement I gravitated more towards big, beefy, “Tacticool” types like Hinderer, or Strider, etc. I still like them but now, just two weeks shy of having been retired for five years, my tastes have changed. I’m enthralled with this knife. For whatever reason, I never really got it until now. It’s like when you finally notice the pretty girl you never really paid attention to before.

I love everything about it. The ergonomics, the aesthetics, the practicality of the overall design and the workmanship. If I could only carry one knife for the rest of my life, this would be it. Hands down. No questions asked. I know I’m gushing a lot about what to you guys must seem like just a plain old Sebenza, but man to me this thing is like finding the holy grail. I finally get it. This one’s gonna be a keeper. . .IMG_7512.jpegIMG_1083.jpegIMG_1081.jpegIMG_7514.jpegIMG_7515.jpeg

Welcome back! I had a similar journey with CRK, although it didn’t take me too long to love ‘em. Now I’m broke, but the collection is healthy! Ha!

Sometimes it takes a while to appreciate them for what they are as tastes and preferences evolve. There have been two times in the past that I owned multiple CRKs only to sell them all and have none. I currently have four Sebenzas and one Inkosi and can't really see myself getting rid of any of them.

You’ll love it! Truly one of the most positive, life changing events you’ll ever experience . At least it was for me. I always tell people to go as early as possible. 😃
I did. I pulled the plug at 51 after 27 years with Uncle. Never regretted my decision, even when I missed the chase.
