Hi folks,
I've not been around for a good few weeks (work etc
)....
....anyway...I booked the week off and banged out a couple of Puukkos.
First up is a gift for a gent in Finland for his 60th.
Its a Polar Puukko blade handled in White Ebony (stabilised).
Second up another gift...this time using a Bernie Garland Bird & Trout blade, crafted from Alabama Damascus.
Bernie had never made a stick tang before I hounded him for some!! He's not too bad at em.
This'll be going to a good mate of ours.
Handle is composed of Elforyn (synth. Ivory), birch bark and white vulc. fibre, with a cracking piece of English Yew!!
Glad I've got the 'sister' piece to that block of Yew!!!
