Hi Uncle, Sorry I haven't written for so long. I think of you and the group often. I've had a long run of intense work. Not a lot of money just work. I hope you have been well, Uncle. I just scanned over the forum a lot of new names. I hope that means lots of new cases of kuk fever, I can't remember the correct name, that's how long I've been away.
This is also a performance report on my 18" WW II. It has been lounging around with my other Kuks on a shelf in my office, mostly collecting dust(BLASPHEME) Anyway I've always believed in using tools so after a year or so I unsheathed my WW II and attacked a 40 foot pine tree that a tornado took down a few weeks ago. It was a religious experience.I was severing 1 1/2" and 2" limbs with one or two swipes. Chopped through a 6" portion of the upper part of the trunk in short order. After all this it was still VERY sharp. It was awsome. I've gotta run. I need to talk with you Uncle I'll call this coming week. Take care all.

Hi Black Bear. Been wondering what you've been up to. Glad to hear your okay.:)

More talk of WWII's Aarrg!:D your not helping my HIKV any:p hee he he

Hmmm....I know that an 18" WWII is probably heavier than a 20" Sirupati, so I figure it ought to hit harder, but not have as much "reach".

Is there a sweet spot somewhere between 18" and 25" for clearing trees?
