So although I have finished a few knives recently, it hasn't really been my big concern. My job takes me away and its hard to get any work done and sometimes a piece gets put aside for weeks at a time and it just doesn't get the attention it needs. Life happens. Anyway, I just thought I would post a few pics of my job.

My job on a good day....

It was around sea state 6 the other night, pretty rough to sleep. We have day sails occasionally if anyone wants to join me.

sounds like you are doing better than me. I get my knives stuck on month long delays all the time. My brother in law never passes up a chance to remind me I haven't finished his knife for him yet. Be safe out there. Man that looks cold.

Rick, we will have to work something out.. I am going back out on the 11th of Jan back in Feb, back end feb to mid march.. etc... As for Blue, it took him a year to get out to my place hehe. And if you come down to the ship, beer is a dollar. Nathan, that was one of the small ones, no one fell (was thrown) out of bed this trip. :-D

Yes quint, it is a fun job most times, I am the Above Water Warfare Director on board and fire the guns and missiles.

Freak... I have been going down to the ship every night since you posted. I go through about $25 in $1 beers waiting. Eventually, I get bored, steal DD(designated dinghy) and row back home. There is only one left so hopefully, I see you tonight.
 
Well, unfortunately I wont be there until the 27th, so you might have a bit of a wait...
 
Don't feel too bad for Rick, he picked up $37 in dollar dances with sailors, and has some promising phone numbers from a few Danish merchant marines :)
