I've been away too long... losing touch with why I got into makin' stuff. Brian's post has spurred me on to getting more involved wif ma peeps.
 
Brian, wanna trade locations? Cold central Maryland for sunny warm Florida beaches? You can practice woodcraft up here in the cold hinterlands of northern Maryland :D.
 
for one thing threaten the old timers like rescueriley, tonym, and kgd with banning unless they get back to posting trip reports again :D i've learned countless things from those guys over the years...even had the pleasure of overnighting with rescueriley and tonym years ago.

and all this time i thought it was the spam that drove them away! bearthedog sleeping on ice...15° f was a little too warm that night and he felt like cooling off...or it might've been the liter of maker's mark we finished off a few minutes before :D

After I became a certified Firearms Instructor and am on the range 2-3 days a month...I HATE shooting. I NEVER go just for fun anymore. Wonder if the same reasons apply?
