Been awhile what have I missed?

I have been away for awhile because other things took priority for my resources. I am starting to get back now and am interested in what I have missed.

To give this a knife focus:

I am limited to carrying knives with blades 3" or less at work and I don't care for folders.

So what are your favorite fixed blade knives with blades 3" or less and why?

Mine is a Carson F4 Neck Knife in BG42 steel carried in the waistband. It is sharp, handy and discrete.

Kabar TDI, small, black handle. deadly sharp, easy to sharpen, excellent edge retention, great sheath with steel spring slip, tucks nicely and discretely in between the belt and pants. Fits my hand perfectly.

they let you carry a fixed blade at work? the posts you were reading then most likely havent changed much.

You have missed the Mantis militia!

As for small fixed blades, my favourite is the Fallkniven WM1 in 3G steel. Why? Because it's a great ergonomic design and cuts like a light sabre!
