What spydey would you want that'll blow everything else away? Mine:

A full titanium military with a mirror-polished S90V blade. Am currently experimenting with my ti millie and i must say S30V is tough to polish. I nearly gave up on it twice.

Probably a PM2/Military hybrid. Blade length about 3.5" or 3.6" with choice of liner or compression lock. Of course the usual high-end steel options...maybe M390, S90V, M4...sign me up!

Hmm...

If I could create a whole new knife then:

A Golden-made flipper with LSCF scales, a compression lock, stonewashed M390 blade, and blue-anodized titanium hardware.

If I could make a new version of a production knife:

Bring back the SpyKer, but with an S90V blade and full Kirinite scales.

Stretch in g10 and S35v. Like what they did to the Native 5

Oh and bring back the Renegade.

Simple. A titanium ATR with replaceable lock bar insert with over-travel stop and S90V ffg blade.

G10 as a standard option on FRN models.
Bring back the Superhawk, ATR and Chinook.
Use M4 on more stuff.
I could go on, but I'm really not that demanding. Make it happen Spyderco! :p

Shrink the PM2 to make a sub 3" blade (2.98ish) knife. Around 3" is my preferred edc knife blade length. I am on a spyderco buying spree but what I really desire seems to be missing from the line. I want a:
~sub 3" blade with modified clip point and finger choil
~a lock easily manipulated one handed without putting fingers in the path of the blade so;
NO to liner, frame and mid/back locks
YES to caged ball bearing, Blackie Collins bolt action, or compression locks

Most agree with above. Shrink the PM2 to 3", M390 would be sweet, G10 with skeletonized liners. And most importantly, the CBBL. I'm craving smaller EDC knives with the CBBL.

Lum with the blue carbon fiber scales like those on the Domino and laminated Super Blue blade. That would be a classy cutting machine!

Bring back the caly jr and shrink the para2 to about 85% original size with 2.5 to 3.0 mm blade stock. Oh, and cpm m4 on that 0.85 para would be grand.

I feel your pain. I used to polish all of my knives... That old 440 stainless was a breeze compared to alot of today's steels. After trying, unsuccessfully, to get a mirror on S30V several years back, I gave it up.

Grizz

A 3" + blade Salt - plain or spider edge with a marlin spike.

No specific models. I have come to trust Sal and Eric's imagination over my own. I would like more knives offered in m4. I would like more options in the "salt" line too. There has been talk of making a new, heavy duty, salt folder and the idea of a matriarch or lil matriarch salt model is interesting too.
