sent it off the beginning of August. was shipped out today to return. went in for spa treatment, sharpening, and fixing tip where I drunkenly rounded it using a work sharp

it is what it is for turnaround time. I sent a tent back to kelty the same day and they fixed it and return it 2 1/2 weeks ago. but I have a question about return shipping cost

this is just me complaining a bit, still love my sebenza. but $17.50 for return shipping that is USPS ground? the true cost on that is like $7ish. I sent it to them using 2-day priority for like $11. in case I ever need to send it back does anyone know if I could provide a pre-paid shipping label to avoid the $17.50 return charge?

either way, I can't wait to have it back. I ended up not buying another edc so I have been carrying a larger fixed blade or just not having a knife on me. made me realize how much I use my knife so certainly excited to have it back in my possession!
 
I asked the same question some time back. You can ship items via Priority Flat rate for much cheaper but as far as I remember the extra cost on shipping is the insurance added to cover entire item in case it gets lost.
 
I think you can ask them to ship USPS Priority which is still like $7 plus insurance, but you get it in 2 days in most cases. I asked for that on a knife I had on order and they said no problem.
 
Might be UPS ground? Insurance, signature, carbon offset, etc. can all add up. I doubt CRK is making shipping costs a profit center.
