Today is a good day. At blade 2011 Ms dericdesmond managed to catch a card entitling her (really me :D), to a free rattlehawk!!!! Well today it showed up and I could not be more fricken happy as Im headed to the hills on Sunday and plan to do some serious choppin! Already knocked a sheath out for her and it works great (still Anxiously awaiting yours Leatherman :D)

Jerry and Co, thank you so much for all your generosity. Its out of this world.

even with no strap it retains the hawk great. I attached some paracord to it and slung it to my back so I can draw it like a mad man :D this thing is so awesome :thumbup:

Good catch. Yep, scandi forest axe :thumbup: Its a beast but doesnt warm my young fuzzy half as much as that hunk of sr101 glory.

Yea, on the leather, the designs are in progress, that under curved tip is giving me fits with the retention. But I'll get er figured out. :) Might be a top loader.
