I picked this up this Boker from [Non-BF Dealer name removed] For [the price] I'm quite impressed. Fit and finish are great and I can find no faults with it yet. Dont know how the beer barrel wood handles are going to hold up though.

Yes carbon steel and razor sharp right out of the box.

Nice looking knife. I always feel like the Copperhead is an underappreciated pattern. Boker, still makes nice stuff.

I've bought at least one of those beer barrel knives. The wood was much lighter weight than 'normal' pocketknife wood handles like cocobolo or rosewood. I think it's oak, and if so should be very durable for normal pocket carry.

The quality on every carbon steel Boker I've purchased in the last five years has been excellent. Considering the reasonable prices, there aren't many better bargains out there.

Congrats on the purchase!

These 'Solingen' Boker knives seem to be a step above the 'Germany' (read china) knives I have a few now and they are something.

The Apaloosa version;

I've been wanting to buy one of the beer barrel Bokers (try saying that 10 times real fast). The Copperhead is attractive but I'm thinking of the Congress.

It's hard to tell from the photos. Are the oak grip panels smooth?

I'm not after any pocket knife at te moment, and I would rather get a single bladed version, but I can't deny that the BBB Copperhead has tempted me many times ;)
