Beer Can Chicken, a side of Hog and a Rat

Who says you can't successfully smoke on a gasser? I used the MustardMan Method of smoking some hickory in a foil patch that doubled as a drip tray which in turn soaked the wood with Pork Juice. Mmmm MMM!

I bought this beer can chicken rack and went to town. There's a can of Yuengling in there as you can see. I prepped the garlic and veggies and Chicken with the Kitchen Champ Vex! That knife rocks!

I topped the chicken off with a potato stuffed in the neck and draped it in Hog. It slow cook smoked for 2 hours at about 350 degrees. This grill seriously has the spirit of that DAMN!!!!! FORCE ONE I NEVER SHOULD HAVE F%&IN... Oh sorry....:o This Weber amazes me. Hit me up if you want the exact recipe. You really dont need the rack.

Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Drool, drool, slobber. Excuse me.
Now my stomach is growling and I'm going to have to get up and eat something. Unfortunately, it won't be anything near as tasty as smoked bacon-draped chicken. :( Maybe you'd better send me that receipe so my stomach dosn't revolt. :D

That looks SOOOOOO freakin' good!!!!!
That is a good idea putting the garlic on the can like that so that the steam from the beer carries the garlic goodness up!!
 
I just had salad for dinner. Dangit! Now I want real food. That looks great!
 
I can almost smell it! Looks good. I inject them sometimes, but it is hard to beat simple usually. Now I want some bacon. WD
 
It was so moist, when I stuck my tongs inside and lifted, the breasts fell off the bone.

The last Beer Butt Chicken we made was a disaster. Me and a friend of mine ran to the barn to get a few things and left the wives to watch the grill...........never do that. We got back 10-15 minutes later to find the entire chicken engulfed in flames with the ladies sitting inside chatting away! :D

I would say thats a cheap rip of an old joke/anecdote if the bloody same thing didn't happen to me. Only whole lot more then our meat was on fire when we got back :grumpy:
