Jerry,
Thanks for the information on my Mistress, I did not realize that It could be worth that much; it doesn't matter though, I will not part with it! When I get over the new knife "touchy-feelies" I will send it to your shop for a once over: what is the easiest and safest way to do this? What would be the turn around for this?( It has taken so long to get one, I am reticent to part with it even for a short time )

The tempering specs are indeed impressive. Why would anyone take a dremel tool to a finished knife?! I guess it takes all types.

Is the spyderco triangle sharpmaker okay for sharpening...when and if it requires it, that is? Is a marine tuff cloth sufficient to retard corrosion?

Lastly...alas, after a largly adventurous and mispent youth, I must admit that I no longer imbibe. However, I see no reason to impose this choice upon my Mistress and would relish the opportunity to preside over her periodic baptism by John Barleycorn. Do you have any recomendations as to the Brand, when this opportunity presents itself?

Thanks again,
Screwtape

I'll look for that brew, TN. isn't really know for it's selection of beers. Maybe you can ship a case back with the knife when I send it for a once over. (I don't imbibe, but there are many who still do, you know)

How about the other questions? By the way, I know that it is a collectors grade knife, but it sure would be a shame not to us it...alot.

Any thoughts?
