very ad hoc idea still in the idea stage, although I smiled remembering when I was a pup, thinking it was cool when the boss paid for the brews each Friday (along with barbecued oysters, chips and aged brie cheese).
I check in on Benchmade's YouTube channel periodically to see if anything new is posted, and noticed the beers and Benchmade's vids. I poked four of them watching most of a couple, but one had such low production quality I bailed early on. I must be a fan boy though because a couple that I watched all the way through only annoyed me mildly when I couldn't actually see the knives and barely heard the audio. I knew their model numbers....
I did enjoy the guy with the incredibly coiffed beard explain why he likes S30v so much. I wish that conversation was a little more in depth. I expected the 490 Amicus to be trotted out during the gentlemannnnn's folder vid and was surprised when it did not show up (or it did show up and I could neither see nor hear about it).
I think I saw a vid I'll get back to later on in the week, that looks like Jimmy's Swedish Damascus 940-1801 as the click bait image?
May I suggest continuing development of this idea with some inexpensive Bluetooth mics on an iPhone 8, or at least some extra glass, not expensive, in front of whatever lens your smartphone sports. Oh, and maybe some very old single malt scotch instead of Brews.
