I love my Randall #11-4.5" with Ironwood handle (in Border Patrol shape) and Brass furniture, but I wasn't thrilled with its sheath, mainly because of the keeper strap that wraps around the handle. I prefer the diagonal strap that loops over the hilt.

Here she is:

Here she is being cuddled by its original sheath:

I contacted Sullivan's Holster Shop a few months ago, and put in an order for a new sheath, with a diagonal keeper strap and no hone pocket. I got a call a couple weeks ago, letting me know it ready, and to send in my knife so that "Randall" snaps can be installed (shop policy). The knife with its new sheath came back yesterday:

I'm very pleased with this new sheath, which is far more usable for me.

KL,

That's pretty darn sweet! Sullivan's sure does nice work, and I'm happy to hear the new shop is fully up to speed now. As to the first sheath, I could use it, so please ship it north ASAP...:)

As much as the new sheath is better, at least for my needs, the original sheath is staying with this knife. In other words, this #11-4.5" will have two sheaths.

As you're no doubt aware, shop policy requires that Sullivan's Holster Shop stamps replacement sheaths with a circled "R" to indicate that it is a replacement sheath.
